Earlier today while I was praying, I found myself wondering:

What would it have been like to sit with Jesus while He was teaching His disciples?

As I sat quietly in prayer, my imagination became so vivid. I could almost feel the breeze, hear the water, and see the disciples gathered around Him. Suddenly, it felt as though I was there among them, simply listening.

Jesus turned and looked directly at me. He paused in the middle of teaching and smiled as if to say,

“It’s so good to see you.”

The moment felt incredibly real to me.

My prayer for you is that if your heart longs to experience the nearness and living presence of Jesus in this way, that you would also encounter Him personally.

And if it doesn’t happen right away, don’t lose heart. Keep that longing alive within you. Sometimes the longing itself is part of the invitation.
